Privacy Policy
Effective September 21, 2026
Omilia (“we”, “us”) builds personal websites for people using AI. This policy explains what information we collect through the Omilia app and website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Account information. Your email address and password when you register, or the identifier and email Apple provides if you use Sign in with Apple. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are never stored in readable form.
Content you provide. The details you enter or ask the AI to add to your site, such as your name, role, location, bio, work experience, projects, skills, education, contact details, social links, and photos you upload. If you choose to publish your site, this content becomes publicly visible at your site’s address.
Domain requests. If you request a custom domain, we store the domain you asked for along with your account email.
Device and notification data. If you allow notifications, we store a push notification token for your device so we can send them.
Website usage data. When you visit our website or a site published with Omilia, we may collect technical information and record how the page is used (see “Session recording” below).
How we use your information
- To create your account and keep you signed in.
- To generate, edit, translate and publish your website.
- To send notifications you have allowed, such as when your site is ready.
- To handle custom domain requests.
- To operate, secure and improve the service, and to understand and fix problems.
We do not sell your personal information.
AI processing
To build and edit your site, the information you provide (and your requests in the in-app chat) is sent to Anthropic, which provides the AI model we use. The AI may also search the web for publicly available information about you to help draft your site. Please review everything the AI writes before publishing, and only include information you are comfortable having processed this way.
Session recording
On our website and on sites published with Omilia we use LogRocket to record sessions, including page interactions, and technical details such as browser and device type, to diagnose errors and improve the product. Inputs are recorded according to LogRocket’s default privacy settings.
Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers that help us run Omilia, under their own privacy terms:
- Supabase, for authentication, database and file storage.
- Anthropic, for AI processing.
- Vercel, for hosting.
- LogRocket, for session recording and error diagnosis.
- Apple, for Sign in with Apple and push notifications.
- Slack, for internal notifications to our team (for example, when someone registers, signs in, or requests a domain, including the email address involved).
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the service. Content you publish is public and can be seen by anyone with the link.
Retention and deletion
We keep your information for as long as you have an account. You can edit or remove content from your site at any time. To delete your account and the data associated with it, contact us at the email address below and we will process your request.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email address below.
Children
Omilia is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it was last changed, and we will post any updates on this page.
